Discover the timeless Kimberley Coast  on a unique fly/cruise holiday and during 8 days explore the incredible beaty of the Buccaneer Archipelago, Sale River and the stunning Ruby Falls - on day 5 you will visit Talbot Bay home of the Horizontal Falls and possibly see the magificent Humpback Whales who come here to give birth and mate through the cooler months before returnign to the Antarctic in summer.

Day 1  Scenic flight by light aircraft to Cape Leveque, from Broome or Derby, begins your adventure on the cruise of a lifetime.  Sail to Myridi Bay.

Day 2 visit Crocodile Creek where you take a refreshing swim in the stunning fresh water falls and rock pools.  continue on to Doubtful Bay for the evening.

Day 3  heading north and you will explore the 400 sq km's of Montgomery Reef this huge reef becomes exposed as the tides fall, creating a visual spectacle of waterfalls and sea life.  Then continue on to Raft Point,home of some ancient and well preserved aboriginal paintings. 

Day 4 From Raft Point you cruise across Doubtful Bay to explore the Sale River, one of the most stunningly beautiful estuaries in the Kemberley.YOu will do a excursion upstream and disembark to walk amid an ancient patch of rich rainforest glades.  Have a dip in the spring fed rainforrest pools before returning to the vessel and slowly cruising up Red Cone Creek to enjoy a refreshing swim at the beautiful freshwater Ruby Falls.

Day 5 You may see Humpback Whales today you will experience a thrilling fast boat ride through the Falls and Cyclone Creek and marvel at the incredible marine life, including the impressive Tawny Nurse sharks that come to greet Discovery One.

Day 6  After breakfast we depart Talbot Bay and visit Squaters Arms to meet a unique couple who have made their home in this timeless land.  have a swim and after a BBQ return to your bed on the ship for the night.

Day 7 Next morning you sail over to the white sands of Silica Beach - swim or take a walk.  This is a photographers' paradise.  Sail on to the top of King Sound.

Day 8  Relax on the top deck and soak up the 360 degree views as we enjoy the final stretch of this magificent archipelago.  This afternoon arrive back at Derby Jetty where you bid farewell to this part of the world.  Passengers from Broome will enjoy a scenic flight back to their departure point, while Derby passengers will be transferred to their accommodation.

Please notel: This cruise offers a scenic flight from Broome or Derby to Cape Leveque on either the outward or inward leg of  your journey, with the boat either leaving from or returning to Derby,  depending on the date of the cruise.  Broome passengers will be flown from or to Derby, as the case maybe.  This itinerary shows the cruise starting at Cape Leveque.  It is intended as a guide only - cruise sequence may change with the tide and weather.
