 Non immigration Tourist visa is required and you need to go into the American Consulate for a visual interview and we week a copy of your passport and the page that the visa is stamped on prior to the ticket been issued.   No every state in Australia has a american consulate.

Bookings:

Passenger bookings are made only subject to the terms of the General Passenger Carriage conditions, a copy will be attached to your confirmation letter.

Passenger Fares:

Fares are payable in Australian dollars converted from euros at prevailing currency exchange rates on the date of balance payment.                  

Cabins can be sold for sole use  - at a single surcharge.

Health and age restrictions:

Only passengers of good physical and mental health can be accepted for carriage on container ships.

Regretfully, we cannot accept persons 80 years of age and no children under the age of 6.

Passengers should be aware that container ships do not carry a doctor or medical officer on board, and basic first aid medical treatment only is available.

Reservations and Payments:

• Within 7 days of confirmation.
• A deposit  of 25% of the fare is required  within 7 days of confirmation.
• Please send back your personal cheque made out to Freighter Cruises with completed booking form and insurance payment – you can add the premium to your deposit payment.
•  A travel insurance brochure will be enclosed with your confirmation.
•  Balance payment is required 75 days prior to the sailing date.

Cancellation:

Cancellation by the passenger for any reason is subject to the following cancellation charges:

• Up to  60 days before the scheduled departure date is 20% of the fare
• Up to  30 days before the departure date is 50% of the fare.
• Later than this date and unfortunately there will be no refund.
