Sail to Thursday Island from Cairns onboard the "Trinity Bay" - roundtrip 6 days!
- The MV "Trinity Bay" is an 80 metre passenger carrying cargo vessel that has accommodation for up to 48 passengers ad operates a weekly all year service between Cairns and Thursday Island. Dry dock is usually done in December - check for dates.
- The vessel departs Cairns and travels through the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park to Thursday Island, Bamaga and back to Cairns.
- A round trip takes 6 days and this will include time in port at Thursday Island and again at Bamaga before returning to Cairns. Day tours are booked from the ship and paid for onboard.
- All meals are buffet style and coffee and tea is available at all times. The ship also has a licenced bar.
- All cabins are 3/4 berth with wash basin - only 5 have private facilities so get in early. - eg 6 months early.
- Rates vary according to the season - low season from November to March .
4 WHEEL DRIVE CAMPING TOUR/CRUISE - sail one way from Cairns to Bamaga and join a camping tour and return to Cairns by 4WD
Duration from 10/ 12 or 14 days - join a small group of 15 persons and really see the Cape York Peninsula and outback Northern Queensland. Tours operate between May and October each year. Book early as the tours book out. Deposit is $300.00 per person with balance payment due 45 days prior to departure. Advise to take out travel insurance - our office can send you a QBE brochure.
Prices start from $3300.00 per person for the 10 day itineray - 4 days at sea and 6 days camping/hotel/4wd touring back to Cairns. Rate includes meals and all equipment.
